As part of the barangay's rainy-season readiness plan, the BDRRMC conducted a community-wide evacuation drill last Wednesday at 10:00 AM. The exercise simulated a typhoon scenario with heavy rainfall and localized flooding in low-lying sitios.
Residents practiced the evacuation route to the Multi-Purpose Hall, which serves as the primary evacuation center. The drill also tested the barangay's roll-call and accounting procedures — a critical step we refined after last year's assessment.
Thank you to the volunteers, purok leaders, and Public Safety Officers who made the drill smooth. A full debrief report will be posted on the Publications page in the coming weeks.
The next scheduled drill is in June. Households are reminded to prepare go-bags, ensure important documents are waterproofed, and identify their assigned evacuation cluster.
